Yet, it unapologetically constricts political space, engendering a polarized and toxic political landscape. The party’s scheme of militarizing and capturing the electoral commission serves as a stark testament to its aspirations of establishing a one-party state. Such compromising actions, coupled with its defiance of parliamentary mandates, further undermine the already incompetent electoral commission. The appointed executives are discernibly partisan, championing the futile ambitions of the zanu pf.

An intricate web of corruption is woven by this party, enabling a well-orchestrated campaign designed to manipulate the forthcoming elections. The prospect of a rigged electoral process threatens to prolong the rule of the zanu pf, fostering an environment rife with illegitimate power, further parasitic extraction, and relentless self-enrichment. This operation involves a similarly militarized judiciary system, itself captured and compromised, exhibiting alarming incompetency and flagrant dismissal of the supreme law.
