Earning notoriety worldwide, a political party cloaked in the guise of a terror and crime syndicate now stands accused of intentionally withholding a critical voter roll. This self-obsessed entity of plunder and destruction, renowned for its relentless looting and predatory tendencies, is none other than the faltering zanu pf. The party’s brazen disregard for law, welfare, and service delivery has not only besmirched its reputation but also crippled the nation’s stability. Inevitably, this invites an impending state failure, risking a cascade into a security and humanitarian crisis that could mirror the tumult witnessed in West Africa.

Perversely, this parasitic, extractive elite, renowned for its rabid exploitation of fiscal and natural resources for personal gain, purports to be a beloved entity. Yet, it unapologetically constricts political space, engendering a polarized and toxic political landscape. The party’s scheme of militarizing and capturing the electoral commission serves as a stark testament to its aspirations of establishing a one-party state. Such compromising actions, coupled with its defiance of parliamentary mandates, further undermine the already incompetent electoral commission. The appointed executives are discernibly partisan, championing the futile ambitions of the zanu pf.

An intricate web of corruption is woven by this party, enabling a well-orchestrated campaign designed to manipulate the forthcoming elections. The prospect of a rigged electoral process threatens to prolong the rule of the zanu pf, fostering an environment rife with illegitimate power, further parasitic extraction, and relentless self-enrichment. This operation involves a similarly militarized judiciary system, itself captured and compromised, exhibiting alarming incompetency and flagrant dismissal of the supreme law. Courts tainted with partiality and officials swaying in favour of a one-party state further mar the judicature’s image.

Invariably, this reign of terror is fueled by the party’s mutilation, violation, and debasement of the supreme law. The legal provisions for separation of powers, as highlighted in Section 3 (2) (e), have been rendered mere hollow words. The zanu pf’s actions paint a grim picture of a political party turned rogue, willing to plunder its own nation and its citizens for personal gain. It is a narrative that underscores the dire need for vigilance, accountability, and reform in our world’s political landscapes. To ensure democracy’s survival, we must rise against the specter of power-hungry parasites intent on looting and devastating our societies.
